Well, never piggy mind. The swine flu arrived on Thursday, with Jackson down with a fever, headache, ear pain, and generally lethargic. He laid in the recliner all day, wouldn't eat much or drink. I took him to the doctor Friday morning and it was confirmed h1n1. The pediatrician prescribed Tamiflu for all of us.
We were supposed to go to Lincoln, this weekend, to see the Drennon family. We decided not to go Thursday afternoon, after Jackson wasn't getting any better and one of the Drennon kids came home from school sick. The ironic part, I had set aside $200 for the trip. I dropped $200 on Thursday, between the pediatrician, the pharmacy and Sonic.
Jackson laid around all day Friday, took his medicine and slept off and on. By Saturday morning, he was fever free and back to his normal self. But, Damon and I were another story. We both woke up with fever, headache, cough, and achiness. We are both still sick today. Reid is still symptom free and taking her Tamiflu faithfully, so hopefully she will miss the fun.
Damon finished up painting yesterday, even though he felt like crap. He finished painting doors, touching up the hallway, painting the front door and painting one small wall in the kitchen. He painted the front door black, with chalkboard paint, and he painted the small kitchen wall with magnetic paint and chalkboard paint. It rocks! We are giving a couple days to dry and cure and then we will write on it, take some pics and post them.
He is now done painting until Spring. Then, we are going to take on our bedroom, the kitchen, and our bathroom. The kitchen and the bathroom both involve wallpaper, so that should add a new degree of fun.

That doesn't sound like fun at all!! I feel like I'm getting a head cold, so we'll see what happens. The paint sounds awesome and fun! I can't wait to see it!
